On Saturday the 16^th of June, I was invited to the Le Freaque Fashion Feast at the church in Ruigoord. The event was hosted by Bas Kosters and Shirley Hart as a DJ team Mr. Broekjevol en Mevr. Bloesjevol. The event included a fashion show by designers Sita Wllemse (Guinea Pig Galore), the collection of Marjet van den Elzen and a special fashion performance by Nieuw Jurk (Esther Meijer).

Le Freaque Fashion Feast is a unique concept by 2nd year International Music Management students of Inholland Haarlem/ Rookie Entertainment. The event combines the aesthetics of fashion with the aural pleasure of DJs spinning quality electronic music. The picturesque and Hippie church in Ruigoord provides the perfect backdrop for this event and helps to sustain the freaky theme of the evening. The host for the evening was the renowned designer Bas Kosters and friend Shirley Hart.

When the fashion show ends, the evening proceed by a DJ set of Lupe, followed by the eclectic sound of DJ Toby Paul. Ille Bitch & De Man Zonder Schaduw closed off the night musically in their own special energetic way.
