Amsterdam: In Full Bloom...

A couple of weeks ago, we had visitors (as we often do living in Amsterdam). It's nice occasionally to do some sightseeing and it felt like spring so off we went to the Keukenhof; the 'Kitchen Garden' at Lisse near Leiden.  Only when we were safely on the coach (yes, a coach trip!) did the guide tell us that even though the bulbs were nearly out, they weren't actually out yet. So it was a trip to the bulb fields with no flowers. The ones in the picture were in the greenhouse. It seems however from a quick check on Flickr that the bulbs are now indeed in full bloom; so if you fancy some spring cheer you know where to go.
